Tracy J. Ahr

Tracy J. Ahr has an Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida. She holds a Juris Doctor, Master's in Business Administration, and Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Mexico.

She has practiced law in the areas of tax, employee benefits, and tribal benefits for over 30 years. The majority of Tracy's practice is devoted to designing, drafting, and providing consultation with respect to the operation and maintenance of employee benefit plans sponsored by Indian tribes and their entities. Tracy also provides consultation with respect to the design, maintenance and operation of private sector qualified retirement plans, multiple employer plans, self-funded insurance plans, and governmental plans, as well as non-qualified plan arrangements, with a primary focus on employee benefits’ tax and compliance issues.

Tracy also handles tax matters and estate planning, particularly for clients with a need for complex tax planning in conjunction with their estate plans. She represents clients, both businesses and individuals, in federal and state tax controversies and tax litigation. In addition to maintaining a busy law practice, Tracy enjoys running and spending time with her two children.
